Petition for Alternatives to Managed Care

We believe that managed care (HMOs, etc.) Is an unethical system.

We believe that managed care damages quality and harms patients and clinicians.

We believe that regulation will not make managed care a pro-patient or pro-quality system.

Americans should make their own treatment decisions, in privacy, with their chosen clinicians.

We do not want managed care for ourselves or for our loved ones.

We want pro-patient, pro-quality alternatives to managed care.

Editor's Note: Division 42 spans many point of views with regard to managed care. The following petition is one of them. Other points of view have equal access to the pages of the IP. This petition is the initiative of NCMHPC and should be returned to them, NOT to Division 42 Central Office.
