For individuals planning to be clinicians, credentialing scholarships are available to cover application fees.  Estimates suggest these fees can be $400 or more, with additional fees to them cover maintenance of the credentials.  The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, in conjunction with American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS), is pleased to announce an award for doctoral students in psychology interested in becoming credentialed by the National Register through its student program, the National Psychologist Trainee Register (NPTR).  For more information, please visit http://www.nationalregister.org/student_awards.html

For individuals planning to be clinical researchers, there are loan repayment programs available through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) available to psychologists.  To learn more about these programs, visit the link for the NIH Loan Repayment programs for clinical research:  http://www.lrp.nih.gov/

The following two presentations were featured at the 2009 APA convention in Toronto and the presenters have graciously agreed to allow SoAP to present them here. The information is specifically of interest to students and ECP members.
