Look for your Apportionment Ballots!
Vote to Restore Our Two Division 50 Seats on Council!
Voting Starting November 1, 2011, members will receive APA apportionment ballots. These ballots determine division and state representation on the APA Council. You receive 10 votes to allocate across any divisions or state associations of which you are a member. Each organization receives at least one Council representative – but more representatives lead to greater voice!

Approximately two years ago we gained a second seat. Unfortunately, last year we lost that second seat. We lost it by just a small number of votes. Therefore, the Board of Directors urges you to allocate all 10 of your votes to Division 50. We need to regain that Division 50 council seat next year. Having two seats gives Division 50 a greater voice on issues of importance to addiction research and practice.

We think that it is in the best interest of the Division to have two seats on Council. So please be sure to mail in your ballot so that it is received by the deadline and give all 10 votes to Division 50. This will allow us to better represent your interests at APA Council!

PLEASE VOTE AND ALLOCATE ALL YOUR VOTES TO DIVISION 50!
