Division 51 of the American Psychological Association
2008 Mid-Winter Men's Retreat
Division 51 will be having our annual men's retreat and Division Board meeting as a part of the APA Conference on Summit on Violence and Abuse in Relationships this year at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda, MD (suburban Washington, DC). In addition, we will be having a discussion on Division 51 identity, mission statement, and values to which all members are welcome.
The Conference opens the evening of February 28 and runs through the next day. More information can be found by following the link to the conference at www.apa.org.
The Board meeting is Friday evening, Feb 29, beginning at 7pm.
The Annual Midwinter Retreat for Men of Division 51 will be on Sat, March 1. This is a long-standing and very rewarding experience for Div. 51 members. The experience traditionally begins with a continental breakfast at 8 AM and continues to 5 PM with a lunch break. The focus is on sharing the challenges and rewards of being the unique men that we are through a facilitated group experience. Cost for the retreat is $40 for members/fellows and free for graduate students. Please contact division president Chris Kilmartin if you plan to attend.
On Sunday, March 2, we will have a discussion on Division 51 identity, mission statement, and values from 9am until noon. All members are welcome to attend. Please also contact Chris if you plan to attend.

The easiest airport to fly into is Washington-National (DCA). You can take the Metro from the airport Yellow Line to the Red Line (transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station).
