Subscribing to the APA Division 6 Email Service
Subscribe to the DIV6 email list for messages of concern to neuroscience,
physiological and comparative psychology. Division 6 offers a low volume
email service that brings you notices of meetings, grant opportunities
and science advocacy alerts. Any Division 6 subscriber can put a message
on the network. To send commands to the list, address your email
to listserv@lists.apa.org
. Here are some common commands to put alone in the body of the message
(note: the system uses your return address so send email from the account
where you want to receive Division 6 email):
SUBSCRIBE DIV6 John Doe (change John Doe to your name)
SIGNOFF div6
This is to leave the list.
REView div6
To see a list of subscribers.
SET div6 DIGEST
Receive messages in digest form.
SET div6 NODIGEST
SET div6 NOMAIL
Turn off mail from list.
SET div6 MAIL (while remaining subscribed)
Turns mail back on.
