Welcome to the Fall 2005 edition of CoA Communications! This last online newsletter for 2005 is intended to inform you of actions taken during the Fall Committee on Accreditation (CoA) meeting and to provide other important information. We hope that you find this newsletter informative, and encourage you to contact the Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation with any questions or concerns at

CoA Members Completing Terms
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those CoA members completing their terms of service at the conclusion of 2005. Ted Packard, Ph.D., Scotty Hargrove, Ph.D., Catherine Grus, Ph.D., and Kent Wilson, M.Ed. have devoted a great deal of time and expertise to psychology education and the accreditation process. In addition, Drs. Packard and Hargrove each served two years as Chair of the CoA during their terms. In their roles as Chair, both engaged in outreach to all the communities involved in accreditation. Further, Dr. Packard recently chaired the accreditation summit in addition to his other responsibilities. Dr. Grus resigned from the CoA in September in order to take a staff position with the APA Education Directorate. On behalf of the professional psychology community and educators, we owe these “volunteers” our deepest gratitude.
