Accreditation Workshops at the APA Convention
The Committee on Accreditation will be conducting concurrent full day (8:30am-5:00pm)
Doctoral, Internship, and Postdoctoral Site Visitor Training Workshops on August
17, 2005 prior to the APA Annual Convention in Washington, DC. These workshops
are open to both new site visitors and experienced site visitors. A half-day
(1:00pm-5:00pm) Site Visitor Chair Workshop (no CE credits) will also be offered
on the same day for current site visitors interested in learning more about
the responsibilities involved in being the chair of a site visit team.
There is especially a need in the site visitor pool for generalists (psychologists
in areas other than clinical, counseling, and school), as well as those familiar
with children’s hospitals, school psychology internship programs, correctional
facilities, and consortium programs.

To be chair eligible you must have participated in at least 3 site visits.

Approximately 15 seats available No CE credits
There is no cost for participants attending these workshops.
The Office of Accreditation pays the CE credit fees for each of the participants
in the full-day workshops.
