Programs Applying for Initial Accreditation
As of May 8, 2013
The following list indicates receipt of self-studies and required payment, signaling voluntary application for initial accreditation by the programs noted. The list reflects programs currently or recently undergoing the review process. Programs that have received a final decision or have withdrawn from the accreditation process will be removed from this list one (1) calendar year after the change in status has been posted.
Status Definitions:
Accredited: Programs that have been judged by the CoA to be consistent substantively and procedurally with the Guidelines and Principles for Accreditation (G&P) (PDF, 460KB). The program's full listing, including the year of the next scheduled review, can also be found on the relevant list of accredited programs.
Under review: Programs have not yet received a final decision; no further information on those programs and their stage in the accreditation process may be provided by our office. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the program directly for further details.
Application voluntarily withdrawn: The program has chosen to voluntarily withdraw its current application from the accreditation process.
Denied a site visit: Programs that have been judged by the CoA as not ready for the site visit portion of the accreditation process.
Denied accreditation: Programs that have completed the site visit portion of the accreditation process but have been judged by the CoA as being substantially inconsistent with the G&P.
Deemed to have withdrawn: The CoA has deemed the program to have withdrawn in accordance with Section 2.3 of the Accreditation Operating Procedures (PDF, 253KB).

In order for our office to process third-party testimony in the most efficient manner, we ask that any comments be provided within 45 days after the program's date of application.
