  • APA Convention CE Workshops: At each APA annual convention, the APA CEP Office and the Continuing Education Committee (CEC) offers half-day (4-hr) and full-day (7-hr) workshops on a range of topics as well as CE credit for selected regular convention sessions (1-2 hr).

  • The Clinician's Corner: The APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology’s (CEP) is now webcasting its Clinician’s Corner workshops nationally on a live basis. These 3-hour workshops feature leading practitioners and scholars working in key areas of professional practice. All workshops include CE credits and will be held at the APA building or online through a webcast.

Online CE Exams

  • APA Monitor's CE Corner: "CE Corner" is a quarterly continuing-education article offered by the APA Office of CE in Psychology. This feature will provide you with updates on critical developments in psychology, culled from peer-reviewed literature and written by leading psychology experts. "CE Corner" appears in the July/August, November, February and April issues of the Monitor.

  • CE and Division 29: In collaboration with Division 29 — Psychotherapy, these articles focus on psychotherapy and psychological practice.

  • The Counseling Psychologist (TCP): Earn continuing education credit for reading articles in The Counseling Psychologist. The Counseling Psychologist is the official publication of the Society of Counseling Psychology (Division 17) of the American Psychological Association. Each issue provides thematic coverage of critical developments concerning the theory, research, and practice of counseling psychology.

  • End-of-Life Issues: The American Psychological Association and its collaborator, eNURSING llc , are proud to present a ten-module, online, continuing education program for psychologists, physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors, hospice volunteers, clergy and others who work with people facing end of life (EOL) issues and concerns.

  • Ethics Rounds: Ethics Rounds offers a new way to earn continuing education credits in ethics based on the APA Monitor's Ethics Rounds articles. These published articles have been selected to be converted into continuing education programs by Dr. Behnke. To complete each program, read the learning objects and the articles, then purchase and complete the online exam. 

  • Evidence-Based Behavioral Practice (EBBP): The EBBP.org project creates training resources to help bridge the gap between behavioral health research and practice. Professionals from the major health disciplines are collaborating to learn, teach, and implement evidence-based behavioral practice (EBBP).

  • Research Report Series: Dedicated to covering the latest developments in the field of substance use and abuse, the NIDA publications provide coverage of the late-breaking developments in understanding chemical use and dependencies. Each issue of the NIDA newsletter provides topical coverage of one particular class of substances or disorders, and provides a review of recent findings concerning the causes, effects and patterns of substance use and abuse.
