Boards and Committees

The Office of Governance works closely with the Executive Director to support the directorate's goals and objectives. The work is carried out in collaboration with policymaking groups and through development of informational materials. Governance coordinates Education Directorate operations for the Board of Educational Affairs, directorate committees, task forces, and working groups.

• Board of Educational Affairs (BEA) Structure and Function
  BEA has the primary responsibility for recommending the educational policy to the APA’s Board of Directors and the Council of Representatives. In addition, BEA works with the Education Directorate’s Executive Director on the Directorate’s ongoing planning and operations.
