2007 APA Education Leadership Conference

Sharing Psychology: Its Role in Education for Other Professions

On September 8-11, 2007, approximately 150 psychologists representing more than 20 psychology organizations external to the American Psychological Association (APA), as well as 25 divisions and 14 governance groups of the APA, gathered in Washington, DC for the 6th annual Education Leadership Conference (ELC) sponsored by the APA Education Directorate and Board of Educational Affairs (BEA).

Participants representing perspectives of scientists, educators, practitioners, and public policy specialists in psychology focused their attention this year on the theme Sharing Psychology: Its Role in Education for Other Professions. Dr. Linda F. Campbell, BEA chair, presided over the conference.
