Jeanne Blakeslee receives APA Presidential Citation

Presidential citation is awarded to recognize outstanding contributions to high school psychology.
Cynthia Belar, PhD (left), Executive Director of the APA’s Education Directorate, presents an APA Presidential Citation to Jeanne Blakeslee (right).On April 17, 2013, Jeanne Blakeslee received and APA Presidential Citation from 2013 APA President Don Bersoff, PhD, recognizing Blakeslee’s “exemplary efforts on behalf of the association to promote high-quality instruction of high school psychology and to infuse issues of social justice across multiple APA projects.” Jeanne is a psychology teacher and director of diversity and leadership education at St. Paul’s School for Girls in Brooklandville, Md.; she served as chair of the APA Committee of Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) in 2011. Congratulations, Jeanne.
