APA recognizes outstanding high school student research at international event
The APA Education Directorate was pleased to recognize ten high school students for their outstanding research in the behavioral and social sciences during the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), held 12-16, in Atlanta, Georgia. ISEF is the world’s largest and most prestigious events honoring pre-college achievement in science; over 1,500 students from more than 47 countries competed for nearly $4 million in scholarships and prizes. APA was one of over 70 professional organizations, representing a wide variety of scientific disciplines that presented scholarships to student winners.
During two days of judging, a panel of volunteer judges from local universities selected the top seven finishers from 86 projects in the areas of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
