Research Mentors
Supervising a competitive student science fair project is exciting, challenging, and rewarding. This process entails a significant investment of time for both student and mentor over the course of one semester or an entire academic year. A local university faculty member may be able to offer assistance and be able to provide the student with access to laboratory facilities. Several college faculty have volunteered to assist high school students with science fair projects. Institutions with participating faculty are listed below.
