TOPSS Sessions at the 2007 APA Convention

The annual APA Convention will be held August 17-20, 2007 in San Francisco, CA. The APA Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) will sponsor five hours of programming, listed below.

There will also be a two-hour workshop on Industrial/Organizational Psychology, sponsored by the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, during convention for high school psychology teachers. If you are interested in attending the I/O workshop, please email Elise Amel so the presenters know how many people to expect.

As a service to people who teach psychology, APA’s Division 21, is offering the program Games To Explain Human Factors: Come, Participate, Learn and Have Fun!!! at the 2007 Convention. The session will be offered on Friday, August 17, from 1:00 until 2:50 pm in room 3018 of the Moscone Center. The room capacity is 265. The session will be led by Dr. Ronald G. Shapiro, Dana Nelson, a high school teacher, Dr. Margarita Posada, an applied developmental psychologist, and Sharon Mintz, a PhD Candidate in Clinical Psychology.
