Description

The workshop is presented in the context of common clinical conditions that are evaluated by clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists and researchers including alzheimer’s disease, Traumatic Brain injury in a medico-legal context, Asperger’s Syndrome and schizophrenia. The attendee is provided detailed printouts from the WAIS-IV/WMS-IV and ACS scoring assistants for a case example from each of these diagnostic groups.  These reports are used throughout the workshop to help the attendee understand the case conceptualizations and how the ACS provides critical information that help with differential diagnosis.

Learning Objectives
  • The attendee with identify common cognitive difficulties experienced by individuals with neurological, psychiatric, and developmental disorders.

  • The examinee will be able to apply and interpret of tools from the Advanced Clinical Solutions (ACS) package for the Wechsler Scales to enhance the assessment and treatment planning of individuals with neurological, psychiatric, and developmental disorders.
