Committee on Education and Training Awards

In 2007, the Committee on Education and Training Awards selected the following award winners:  1) Rex Lloyd Forehand, PhD for the 2008 Distinguished Career Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology Award, and 2) Richard E. Mayer, PhD for the 2008 Distinguished Contributions of Applications of Psychology to Education and Training Award.

Citations and monetary awards will be presented to the award winners at the APA/APF Awards Ceremony in August 2008 at the APA Convention in Boston, MA.

The committee actively pursued nominations from diverse constituencies and will continue to expand its outreach to expand the pool of nominations.

Committee Composition
The committee was comprised of 3 men and 3 women; two are Asian-American men and one is an African American woman.
