What Do We Do?

The Office of International Affairs serves as APA’s touch point for international information, activities and initiatives within APA’s central offices and across the association. It leads outreach and interaction with APA’s international members and affiliates, coordinates APA’s participation and representation in international venues, facilitates exchange with national psychology associations and global policy bodies. The office provides staff support to the Committee on International Relations in Psychology (CIRP), coordinates APA’s UN Representation, fosters exchange with Divisions on international issues, and works to identify international policy issues relevant to the association.
