Memoranda of Understanding Program
APA formalizes its interactions and collaborations with national psychology associations outside the U.S. through a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
World Health Organization (WHO) ICD-10 Revision
The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) is the global standard for reporting and categorizing diseases, health-related conditions and external causes of disease and injury. APA supports the WHO and its advisory groups in their revision process of ICD-10; the finalized ICD-11 is expected in 2018.
Mutual Recognition of Accreditation Guidelines
APA and the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) signed and approved the First Street Accord, which mutually recognizes the equivalence of APA's and CPA's accreditation guidelines, standards and principles.
