APA International Learning Partner Program — Trip to China in May 2013

Come with APA to explore psychological research, education and interventions in China as well as the integration of behavioral and physical health; and applications of psychology across different sectors of society

APA invites members to participate in a professional visit to China, scheduled for May 13-23, 2013, organized to promote mutual learning, collaboration and exchange. Led by Barry Anton, PhD, and Carol Goodheart, EdD, participants will explore psychological research, education and interventions in China; the integration of behavioral and physical health; and applications of psychology across different sectors of society. The visit includes meeting with Chinese colleagues in Beijing and Xi'an.

APA is working with the organization Professionals Abroad that creates the itinerary and handles all logistics for the trip. An optional cultural trip to Tibet is also being planned.

The APA China program members will convene in Beijing on May 14 (departures from the U.S. on May 13) and will return on May 23. Cost of the trip is anticipated to be $3,250 per person for a single hotel room or $2,675 for a double hotel room. Questions may be addressed to the program representative at (877) 298-9677.
