International Book Reviews: A New Series Features Selected Reviews from PsyCritiques

Psychology International has teamed up with PsyCritiques' editor, Danny Wedding, to highlight and reprint articles that focus on international research or internationally relevant issues in psychology. To launch the series, this issue of PI highlights two related articles from a recent PsyCritiques on evil - a review of Phil Zimbardo's The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil (http://www.apa.org/international/pi/Zimbardo.pdf), and of Don Dutton's The Psychology of Genocide, Massacres, and Extreme Violence: Why “Normal” People Come to Commit Atrocities (http://www.apa.org/international/pi/Dutton.pdf).

PsyCritiques is an online journal that has replaced Contemporary Reviews. PsyCritiques provides reviews of books, monographs, films and other productions in psychology, and includes a data base wtih current PsyCritiques as well as Contemporary Psychology reviews stretching back to 1956.
