United Nations Commission on the Status of Women Observer Nominations
APA's UN representatives have recently been informed of an opportunity
to nominate an international colleague to attend the 2010 United Nations
Commission on the Status of Women meeting as an observer for the first
week of the meeting, March 1-5, 2010, in New York City.
If you are active in research, scholarship or outreach on women's issues,
you are eligible to apply. Preference is given to early career women from
developing countries. Please see the invitation
letter for more information.
The deadline for nominations from APA is mid-November. To be considered,
APA must receive a completed nominations form (attached) by 17:00 EST
(Washington DC time), November 12, 2010. APA must submit a nominations
form and a letter of reference
