- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and multi-task
Description:
- Assist in the preparation of budget materials necessary for the annual APA budget process (spring and fall); assist in the budget package review process to assure quality control and accuracy; and compile various worksheets/reports based on budget data collected.
- Ensure the accuracy of the monthly activity reports and distribute timely to the managers; assist in the research to resolve variance in the monthly performance reports; prepare monthly and year-end journal entries, such as, zero out entries, recognition of revenue and transfer of activity requests; and perform general ledger entry.
- Prepare monthly financial status report pages and various monthly special management reports. Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations for advance/deposit accounts and other asset/liability accounts; assist in preparing audit schedules; and reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare and maintain the worksheets for the APA allocation process; assist in maintaining the tables in the online budget system and Association Plus (A+) that are required to generate management reports (with and without allocations).
- Assist Manager, Budget and Reporting/General Ledger with special projects, such as budget booklets, special account analyses, etc.
