Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required in Liberal Arts or Communication
- Two-Three years of customer service skills (may substitute for degree requirement)
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, and business system modules
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate over the phone and in writing
- Excellent listening and organizational skills
- Satisfactory results of a credit history report
- Opportunity to earn supplemental pay
Description:
- Perform customer service for members, officers, customers, vendors, staff, etc. which are received within or directed to the Service Center.
- Perform detailed data entry within APA's integrated business system while off or on the telephone with a contact.
- Resolve while on the telephone or while away from work station discrepancies, problems or conditions of a current or previous contact by navigating and/or selecting specific information from (at least one and eventually all) the business system modules or provide written responses to contacts received via internet, email or fax.
- Cross and up sell products and services. Provide additional appropriate information.
- Suggest, design, and implement appropriate form letters for responsive customer communication and conduct surveys of service level, product use or interest, program interest, etc.
- Other office duties as needed, such as outbound call for clarification, reviewing and editing entries, photo copying, archiving, etc.
