Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Related, plus five years of related experience)
- Seven years of progressive experience working with web systems that accept and validate information that feed enterprise and line-of-business applications
- Four years of experience using classic ASP with VBScript, client side JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, extensive HTML skills, SQL Server (to include stored procedure creation, SSIS, optimized query generation)
- Two years of experience in ASP .Net and C# .Net
- One year experience with Web Services for integration with search engine, identity management, etc.
- Knowledge of XML
- Working knowledge of large-scale Content Management Systems for public websites is highly desirable
- Experience with Tridion Content Managements System considered a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Description:
- Perform business needs analysis. Help guide end user requirements into achievable systems. Advises users on feasibility and practicality of suggested modifications, new services, and automation of manual processes. Formulates design plans and writes project specifications.
- Perform computer system design and analysis tasks that result in modifications to existing systems or creation of future enterprise-wide web enabled systems. Researches software requirements for new or modified systems.
- Develop and maintain large distributed applications including content management software for public website and various line-of-business applications. Ensure 3rd party applications such as learning management system and meeting planning are seamlessly integrated with the APA's identity management system. Performs advanced programming tasks. Constructs relational databases, programs web applications, and maintains public website's content management system.
- Test and Debug own work and that of teammates.
- Develop and maintain system and application documentation. Define security requirements and control procedures. Conduct performance testing. Analyze discrepancies between actual and expected results. Identify possible sources of discrepancies and recommend solutions. Verify that conversion results meet functional requirements.
- Investigate new technologies and programs for incorporation into new/existing web/business process
