Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Related, plus five years of related experience)
  • Seven years of progressive experience working with web systems that accept and validate information that feeds an enterprise business system
  • Four years of experience using Cold Fusion, Java, HTML, Xml, Unix and SQL Server
  • Web development high desirable
  • Experience working with Order Entry Applications, Cash Receipts, Batch transactions, Membership and Subscription application systems
  • Excellent written and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Description:

  • Perform business needs analysis. Help guide end user requirements into achievable systems. Advises users on feasibility of and practically of suggested automation. Formulates design plans and writes project specifications
  • Perform computer system design and analysis tasks that result in modifications to existing systems, or future enterprise wide web enabled systems. Researches hardware and software requirements for new modified systems.
  • Develop and maintain large distributed applications including Order Entry, Address Verification, Membership, and Subscription. Performs intermediate and advanced programming tasks. Constructs relational databases, programs, web forms and batch update processes
  • Test and Debug member and subscriber web processes
  • Develop and maintain system documentation. Define security requirements and control procedures. Conduct performance results tests. Analyze discrepancies between actual and expected results. Identify possible sources of discrepancies and recommend solutions. Verify that conversion results meet functional requirements
  • Investigate new technologies and programs for incorporation into new existing web/business process
