Professional Psychology: Research and Practice publishes conceptual and data-based articles on the issues and methods involved in the practice of psychology. Topics encompass a broad range, including health psychology, community psychology, family psychology, forensic psychology, and clinical neuropsychology.
The journal addresses many areas, including reviews of clinical research on specific disorders that highlight implications for practitioners, standards of professional practice, delivery of services in a variety of contexts, and public policy as it affects the practice of psychology. The education and training of professional psychologists both at the graduate level and in continuing education are also discussed.
