Psychotherapy Theory, Research, Practice, Training publishes a wide variety of articles relevant to the field of psychotherapy. The journal strives to foster interactions among training, practice, theory, and research, as all are essential to psychotherapy.

Authors may submit theoretical contributions, research studies, novel ideas, and the controversial, as well as examples of practice-relevant issues that would stimulate other theorists, researchers, and/or practitioners.

Articles based on individual cases are occasionally published. Brief reports are also published and should be no longer than 10 pages, including text and tables, but not abstract or references. The journal includes the widest scope of orientations to inform its readers.
