2009 is an editorial transition year for JEP: Animal Behavior Processes. Nicholas Mackintosh, PhD, is the official editor for all of 2009; however, he and his editorial team are only handling invited revisions of manuscripts previously submitted to the Mackintosh editorial team during the remainder of his term.

During 2009, the incoming editor, Anthony Dickinson, PhD, and his editorial team are handling all new submissions to the journal.
