Journal Description

The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance publishes studies on perception, planning and control of physical action, and related cognitive processes, including object and word recognition.

The journal includes research on all sensory modalities and motor behaviors, with an emphasis on empirical studies, theoretical notes, and commentaries. Areas covered include visual attention, visual and auditory word perception, object and face recognition, hand-eye coordination, control of posture and locomotion, musical context effects, perceptual integration, haptics, and the underlying neural bases of human perception and performance.
