Sample Search: Using the Term Finder (and managing your results, too!)
This 2.49 minute tutorial demonstrates the Term Finder on APA PsycNET. The Term Finder is an online version of the APA Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms, which provides the controlled vocabulary for APA databases. You can use the Term Finder to build a precise search. The tutorial also demonstrates how to display your search results in APA Style, using the My List feature.
Sample Search: Using the Author Index
This 1.32 minute tutorial demonstrates the Authors Lookup feature on APA PsycNET. This feature allows you to find names in the index of authors and identify all variations of an author's name. The tutorial also demonstrates how to email the search results to yourself or a colleague.

This voice-narrated series provides an overview of the entire APA PsycNET platform. This tour is broken up into four chapters that includes searching the cross-database platform, the author and journal lookup, the browse capabilities, and the term finder module, which is the online version of the APA Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms.
