Get Application Forms Member The Member category is intended for those who have a doctoral degree in psychology or a related field from a regionally accredited graduate or professional school or a school that achieved such accreditation within 5 years of the doctoral degree (or a school of similar standing outside of the United States). Associate The Associate category is intended for those who have a master's degree or have completed 2 years of graduate study in psychology or a related field at a regionally accredited institution. Degrees from foreign institutions must show U.S. equivalency. Student Affiliate The Student Affiliate category is intended for graduate or undergraduate students taking courses in psychology. High School Student Affiliate The High School Student Affiliate category is intended for those enrolled as a high school student and interested in a career in psychology or want to see what it's all about. High School Teacher Affiliate Teachers of high school psychology are invited to join APA as High School Teacher Affiliates. Community College Teacher Affiliate Psychology teachers at community colleges are invited to join APA as Community College Teacher Affiliates. International Affiliate Psychologists who live outside the United States and Canada are invited to become International Affiliates of the American Psychological Association.
