Program Director: (to be determined)

Acting Director: Andrew T. Austin-Dailey, MDiv joined MFP in October, 2002. He is responsible for the daily operation of the Minority Fellowship Program and serves as the first professional point of contact for Fellows, university officials, inquiries, specific requests, or problems that are forwarded to the MFP. Mr. Austin-Dailey serves as a liaison for MFP's relationships with other organizations, assists with strategic planning, and makes policy recommendations to the Principle Investigators. He also oversees the development and maintenance of our extensive databases, the development of data analyses, and reports based on them.

Professional Development Specialist: Kyra D. Kissam, PhD joined MFP in March, 2005. She is responsible for developing and coordinating MFP activities related to the Psychology Summer Institute (PSI), the MFP/DP 2000 collaboration, postdoctoral training in psychology, dissertation support, and other professional development for fellows. Dr. Kissam also plays a lead role in developing evaluation strategies and tools, databases, and statistical analyses and reports related to MFP programs.

Finance Coordinator: Daisy L. Clipper has been with the MFP since January, 1990. She is responsible for disseminating stipend checks to Fellows. Ms. Clipper prepares, maintains, and forwards to appropriate federal funding agencies and university financial administrators all MFP and federal financial support forms on persons appointed to MFP training grants. She tracks individual Fellow stipend, tuition/fees reimbursement, travel reimbursements and generates reports on such. In addition, Ms. Clipper provides administrative support to the MFP office and program by handling logistics of meetings and travel arrangements.

Program Assistant: Candace D. Davis has been with the MFP since January, 2002. As Program Assistant, she is responsible for administrative support for the Minority Fellowship Program. She is the Managing Editor of two distinct newsletters: Variability and Synapse. Ms. Davis also handles electronic and promotional communications. In addition, she provides administrative support to the MFP office and program by assisting with the maintenance of files and processing of applications on a yearly basis.

Administrative Assistant: Vivian O. Agbegha, MA has been with the MFP since December, 2007. She assists with administrative support for the MFP and is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of the program’s website, listservs, and other networking capacities. In addition, Ms. Agbegha produces materials for regular meetings and special events hosted by the MFP.
