Want to help make behavioral health services more accessible to active-duty service members and their families? Join the U.S. Public Health Service's Commissioned Corps and work in a U.S. military hospital.
The PHS is recruiting civilian psychologists and welcoming military psychologists who have left the military. As PHS officers, these psychologists will earn comparable pay to military officers and have benefits such as free health care for themselves and their families, tax-free housing allowances, commissary privileges and military retirement. As PHS officers, they will not deploy overseas, but will instead support the military health-care mission at home.
