Continuing through October, the five candidates for APA's 2010 president are answering two questions in each issue of the Monitor. Balloting will begin Oct. 15, and the election will close on Dec. 1. The candidates answered their first two questions in the July/August Monitor. Biographical information on each candidate and the candidates' election statements appeared in the June Monitor.

Q3: What key initiatives do you think will enhance the practice of psychology as a profession in the 21st century?
