Nov. 20 is the International Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse. Find out ways to help children this month—and year round—with resources available through APA' s Violence Prevention Office. They include:

• A new listserv, providing a forum for members involved in violence prevention to share ideas. It also will disseminate information to listserv members on new funding opportunities, conferences and summits, as well as APA division announcements, APA committee nominations and articles about violence prevention. To sign up, contact APA Violence Prevention Office Director Julia Silva.

• The ACT Web site. The Web site for the Adults and Children Together (ACT) Against Violence program—www.actagainstviolence.org—includes a wealth of research-based information for professionals and the public. Included are free, downloadable ACT program materials and publications for professionals, and booklets for families and caregivers.
