Early Career Family Social Hour. A special family social hour with wine and hors d’oeuvres for the parents in one area of the room and entertainment and snacks for the kids just a few steps away. Time to be announced, Saturday, Aug. 6.
Early Career Family Room. A room with comfortable seating for parents and an entertainment/play area for children (featuring activities like storytelling and movie time, face painting, activity sheets and crayons). Activities are suitable for children ages 10 and younger, but all are welcome. The family room hours are: Thursday and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to noon. The room is located in the Washington Convention Center, Salon A (Street Level). Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent at all times in the Early Career Family Room.
