Div. 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology) will offer four new continuing-education webinars this fall:
- "Applying for Internship," a panel discussion with Allison Ponce, PhD, Mitch Prinstein, PhD, Randi Streisand, PhD, and Risa Weisberg, PhD, will be held Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. EDT.
- "Uncovering Clinical Principles and Techniques to Address Minority Stress, Mental Health, and Related Health Risks Among Gay and Bisexual Men," with John Pachankis, PhD, will be held Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. EDT.
- "Promoting Psychological Health after Cancer Treatment," with Jennifer Move, PhD, will be held Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. EDT.
- "Evaluation of Emotion, Personality, and Internal Models of External Reality: Implications for Psychological Intervention," with Allan Harkness, PhD, will be held Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. EDT.
Each webinar is $15 for Div. 12 members and $50 for non-members. Registration closes 48 hours prior to the webinar. Learn more and register. Div. 14 awards inaugural Dunnette Prize, welcomes new fellows
At its annual conference in April, Div. 14 (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) presented its first $50,000 Dunnette Prize to Frank L. Schmidt, PhD, for his 40-year career in research and applied I-O psychology.

Register for the ‘Building a High Performance Organization' consortium
Div. 14 (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) will host its 11th annual Leading Edge Consortium, "Building a High Performance Organization: A Fresh Look at Performance Management," Oct. 2–3, in Boston. The meeting will focus on innovative strategies and tools that can drive high performance in complex and demanding work environments. Sessions will cover such topics as how to achieve positive organizational change, how to support manager effectiveness and ability to drive performance, and how to enact learning and behavior change. Div. 17 to host ‘Best in Science‘ and ‘Best in Practice' speakers
Each year, Div. 17 (Society of Counseling Psychology) selects two speakers at APA's Annual Convention who represent the "Best in Science" and "Best in Practice" in counseling psychology. This year, Dorothy Espelage, PhD, will give the Best in Science address and Rosie Phillips Bingham, PhD, will give the Best in Practice address. Espelage is a professor of educational psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who researches bullying, homophobic teasing and dating violence. Phillips Bingham is the vice president of student affairs at the University of Memphis. Hear their talks Saturday, Aug. 8, 10–11 a.m.
Save the date: Div. 22 to host annual conference in February
Div. 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) will host its annual conference Feb. 19–21 in Atlanta. The theme is "Rehabilitation Psychology across the Spectrum of Care." The meeting will offer programming for rehabilitation psychology practitioners, researchers and educators in a variety of areas including cardiac care, critical care medicine, pediatrics, psychiatric rehabilitation, trauma, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. Apply for the Div. 40 student awards
Div. 40 (Society for Clinical Neuropsychology) welcomes graduate student applications for its $1,000 Dissertation Award and its $500 Thesis Award, annual prizes sponsored by the education advisory committee. The Dissertation Award includes an additional $1,000 for travel to present research at APA's 2016 Annual Convention in Denver. The application deadline is Oct. 15. Network and learn with Div. 43 in Toronto
Div. 43 (Society for Family Psychology) encourages members planning to attend APA's 2015 Annual Convention in Toronto to come to a "Conversation with the Expert" session with media psychologist Mary Gregerson, PhD, who will talk about Internet delivery of mental health services. The event will be held on Friday, Aug. 7 at 5 p.m. in the Div. 43 hospitality suite.
The division also encourages graduate students interested in meeting seasoned family psychologists to attend its Speed Mentoring event on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. Students are welcome to join division members after the event for the division's social hour, to be held at 6 p.m. in the hospitality suite. The social hour will focus on sharing opportunities for internships and postdoctoral programs in family psychology. Div. 43 will provide updates on convention and hospitality suite programming in the weeks leading up to the convention at Division 43.
Div. 2 develops new teaching resources
Div. 2 (Society for the Teaching of Psychology) has added new offerings to its online clearinghouse of teaching resources. They are:
