The site outlines ELSI issues and activities and offers information on the program's funding, research and training opportunities and the history of ELSI, and provides links to resources, publications and Web pages on human genetic research.

 

Knowledge Exchange Network

A service of the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Knowledge Exchange Network Web site offers information about mental health and mental health services to consumers, policy-makers, mental health professionals and the media. The site includes information on SAMHSA funding opportunities, reports and conference announcements, CMHS programs and a news center that includes up-to-date articles on mental health and SAMHSA news releases. The site also lists contact information for mental health agencies and advocacy organizations by state.

 

The Stanford Prison Experiment Web site

The Stanford Prison Experiment Web site features a slide show and information about the classic psychology experiment about prison life conducted at Stanford University in 1971 by APA President-elect Philip G. Zimbardo, PhD. The site provides a list of discussion questions about the experiment, prison situations and ethics, details on what became of the study participants, and links to prison research resources and Web sites on prisoner rights and prison reform efforts.

 

Virtual Center for Researchon Graduate Education

Run by the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS), this Web site is an electronic clearinghouse for research on graduate education. The site offers information on graduate enrollment and degree trends, an analysis of the labor market for new PhD recipients and a list of research by CGS member institutions, and provides Web links to other sources of research and data on graduate education.
