APA's Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) is sponsoring a three-hour program on teaching methodologically on April 11 at the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association (RMPA) annual meeting in Denver. The workshop will offer practical ways to generate enthusiasm among high school students about psychology statistics and basic empirical techniques. Maureen McCarthy, PhD, director of APA's precollege and undergraduate education programs, and Charlie Blair-Broeker of Cedar Falls High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa, will lead the program. To attend the workshop, participants must register for the RMPA meeting. High school teachers may register for $35, which includes membership in RMPA and access to all sessions offered at the April annual conference. For registration information, visit the RMPA Web site at www.rockymountainpsych.org or contact Mayella Valero at (202) 572-3013; e-mail: email@example.com.
