VOLUME 29 , NUMBER 8 -August 1998 DIVISION SPOTLIGHTDiv. 13 (Consulting) Div. 13 welcomes nominations for the 1998 Harry Levinson Award and the 1999 RHR International Award. The Harry Levinson Award goes to an APA member who showed leaders and managers how to establish a strong yet humane organization by applying a variety of psychological concepts. The winner receives a $1,000 prize.The RHR International Award will be given to an APA member who helped private or public organizations react to the needs of their employees. Judges will emphasize the practice of consultation rather than the area of teaching, research or publications. The winner receives $1,500. Candidates must submit a letter of nomination, a curriculum vitae and proof of the importance and success of candidate?s work. All nomination materials must be received by Dec. 15. Div. 37 (Children, Youth and Family) Div. 37 invites manuscripts for its quarterly journal, Children?s Services: Social Policy, Research and Practice. The journal focuses on topics concerning policies that affect the psychological well-being of children and families. Div. 37 welcomes empirical research, case studies, reviews of literature, reactions to local, state or national policies, task force reports, point-counterpoint debates and commentary on articles previously published in the Children?s Services. Manuscripts must be double-spaced with 12-point font size; authors should also include an abstract (maximum of 120 words). Send four copies to: Michael C.
