APA members who are interested in being nominated for the 2005 APA presidency are invited to submit a nomination statement of 50 words or less to APA's Governance Office. The statements will be mailed with the nomination ballots for the 2004 elections. The submission deadline is Jan. 15. The 50-word limit is strictly enforced. Interested nominees may also address APA's Council of Representatives at its winter meeting in Washington, D.C., Feb. 20-22, and are responsible for their own transportation and lodging costs. The nomination ballot will be mailed to members on Feb. 2, and the balloting period will last 45 days.
