Which states are supporting students?

The American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) needs your help in identifying the state, provincial and territorial psychological associations (SPTAs) that have demonstrated excellence in promoting graduate student development and joint APAGS/SPTA membership.

The SPTAs that have been the most successful are eligible for the annual Outstanding State, Provincial or Territorial Psychological Association of the Year award, a $1,500 award presented by annually by APAGS, APA's Committee for the Advancement of Professional Practice and Div. 31 (State Psychological Association Affairs). The California Psychological Association won this year's award. The application deadline is Jan. 15. 

Be a student leader

APAGS is amassing its slate of candidates for its 2008 elections. Open positions include chair-elect, member-at-large (practice focus), member-at-large (diversity focus), member-at-large (science focus), and member-at-large (membership retention/recruitment focus).
