APA?s Public Policy Office now offers an online congressional information resource, as well as updates on the latest congressional action. A congressional directory includes biographies and photos of lawmakers, along with their committee assignments and names of their staff members. A ZIP-code matching service allows psychologists to simply type in their ZIP code to get the name of their senator or congressional representative. The guide also includes the e-mail addresses for congressional offices, tips on communicating with lawmakers and general information about the legislative process.
