CALL FOR PAPERS

The eighth annual International Conference on Conflict Resolution (ICR), "Sharing tools for personal/global harmony," St. Petersburg, Russia, is accepting submissions for presentations to explore conflict resolution within diverse contexts, including arts/creativity, cross-cultural, ecology, economics/business, education, gender, global/regional conflict, health/healing arts, human rights, organizational/community, psychotherapy, and transpersonal/spiritual. The Journal of Threat Assessment (JTA), a new scholarly journal that will begin publication in 2000, is accepting manuscripts devoted to the assessment and management of threats and violence in various contexts, including homicide, stalking, obsessional harassment, assault, sexual offenses, group violence, hostage situations, kidnapping and abductions, suicide, serial and mass murder, implied or direct threats of violence, protective measures for victims, workplace violence, domestic violence, school violence, threats against public figures and domestic and international terrorism. Manuscripts should be 30 pages or less, prepared in accordance with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 4th edition. There is no deadline for submissions at this time. AWARDS

The Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP) is accepting applications for its annual General Purpose Awards Competition.
