Many divisions and state, provincial and territorial psychological associations hold one or two seats on APA's Council of Representatives. Those who will hold three or more seats in 2006 include:

Three seats: Divs. 16 (School), 17 (Society of Counseling Psychology) and 44 (Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Issues)

Four seats: Divs. 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology) and 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology)

Five seats: Divs. 14 (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) and 39 (Psychoanalysis)

Seven seats: Divs. 42 (Independent Practice)
