The article "Bringing psychology to the world" (December Monitor) incorrectly identified Deanna Chitayat, PhD, as a professor at Hofstra University. Chitayat was a Dean of University College at Hofstra University until her retirement in 2003.
In the December article "A sea change in family values?" on page 61, a statement about the effects of divorce on children was inaccurate. It should have read that while some children of divorce suffer little or no ill effect, others do poorly when compared on academic, social and behavioral measures with children whose parents are not divorced.
