AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL FOUNDATION
Spotlight on: Katherine Nordal, PhD
Print version: page 71

"My favorite foundation is the APF. I feel a very strong sense of responsibility to give back to a profession that is such a rewarding and important part of my life and that has given so much to me. Giving to APF allows me to contribute in a way that enables some of the best and brightest of our young scientist practitioners to contribute to a knowledge base that will provide solutions for many of the problems in our society and improve the quality of life for those we serve. APF's work helps psychology build a better world for all of us and for those generations who will come after us. There is no other foundation whose leadership better understands psychology, psychologists and the contributions we can make to advance psychology in the public interest."

—K. McKnight, E. Merck, K. Peterson and D. Schwartz
