Occupational health conference to be held in March

APA, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and
Health, and the School of Business at Queen's University are hosting "Work, stress and health: new challenges in a changing workplace," in Toronto on March 20-22, with continuing-education workshops on March 19.
The conference will feature interactive poster presentations, papers, symposia and workshops on new research findings, policy and prevention/intervention programs that address 16 themes: new work contracts; organizational policies and work redesign; hours of work; psychosocial factors and health; work, family and community; physical safety at work; flexible work processes; advances in research methodologies; bridging research and practice; best practices; special populations in the work force; prevention and intervention; disability and disability management; mass disaster and terrorism; legal issues; and training in occupational health psychology.
