APA's home page for early-career psychologists--www.apa.org/earlycareer--contains a plethora of links for new psychologists of all stripes.

General categories include an early-career listserv; career information for all types of jobs in the field; funding resources; continuing-education links; resources for practitioners; ways to get involved in promoting the field; and information on where new graduates are getting jobs.

Click on "Career Information" to find tips on licensure, salary surveys and career resources. The service www.psyccareers.com allows early-career psychologists to post their résumés and look for jobs, and potential employers to search that database. Other links take you to information on traditional and nontraditional careers in scientific psychology. The site also features news updates, conference information, new publications of relevance to early-career psychologists and other pertinent information--including sightseeing activities at the 2005 APA Convention in Washington, D.C.
